![]() There are many organizations that contribute to the life of our church. Without these organizations, there would be much less working order in the church. This section is devoted to those organizations and is full of information about them. Please, enjoy our site. Altar ServersYoungsters and teens who serve at the altar begin training and formation in the fourth grade. Their privileges include serving at Masses on Sunday and weekdays as well as at other special liturgies. Boys and girls from grade school through high school serve and are encouraged deepen their love in Christ through this ministry. OLPH Annual BazaarThis special event each year gathers parishioners and community members for games, food, sharing, and entertainment. The primary purpose for this event is to build community, have fun and help fund the parish youth programs and parish maintenance. The 2005 Bazaar is being organized and directed by Thomas and Darlene Keller. If you can help with the planning efforts, they can be reached at (619)443-3361. If you can help in any way, please contact Thomas and Darlene, lets give them our full support. Altar and Rosary SocietyThe Altar Society encourages spiritual growth for women. They urge frequent reception of the sacraments. In service to the parish they clean the church and financially support improvements that are necessary to keep our church beautiful. They meet on the 3rd Wednesday of each month between the months of September and May. and welcome your participation, whether as an active or prayer member. rolling for the Bazaar. The planning for the annual benefit is half the fun and
great friendships are developed. The 2005 Annual benefit is going to be a

Our Lady of Perpetual Help Council #13007Knights of Columbus is a World Wide Catholic Men's Organization devoted to working in the parish as well as the community. Our Council is new to OLPH and are looking for Catholic men. You must be at least 18 years old and a practicing Catholic. We meet on the 2nd Thursday of each month. You must be a 1st Degree Knight to attend the meetings. For information please contact Bob Wilson, Grand Knight at (619) 561-1038.OLPH Music MinistryThe music ministry at OLPH welcomes and encourages all singers and instrumentalists to join in praising God. There are opportunities for all ages of vocalists and instrumentalists. Special occasion choirs are formed at Easter and Christmas time. Groups that play at various Masses on Sunday have varying requirements and levels of commitment. There is something for everyone, no matter how much or how little time you have to devote to this special ministry. We could use a few good men to help even out our tone.
