  Father Ron Buchmiller, Pastor

Father Ron has been an East County resident since 1952. After studies at USD and the Gregorian University, he was ordained a priest for the San Diego Diocese December 20th, 1969. Prior to his arrival at OLPH as Pastor (July 1, 2001), he served as a U. S. Naval Chaplain for a little more than 22 years.
  Father Joseph Khuyen Van Lai, Associate Pastor
Father Joe was born in Vietnam and entered the seminary when he was in 6th grade. He spent 15 years in high schools and college, then 2 years working in various parishes before being ordained in December 1974. He ran away from home when the Communists took control of his country. He came to San Diego in July 1975, and has continued serving in the Diocese of San Diego ever since. He will complete his 5th year here at OLPH in July, 2008. He has brothers, a sister and a lot of nephews, nieces, and many great nephews and great nieces in San Diego area. His hobbies are listening to Vietnamese music, making pictures with Photoshop, and going to the beach (but only to sit under the tree for fresh air, not getting into the water.)
Deacon Dennis O'Neil

Dennis has been an OLPH parishioner since 1968. He has been married 28 years and has three children. He was ordained as a permanent deacon in 2005.
  Sister Frances Michele, Sacramental Coordinator

    As a Sister of St. Joseph of Carondelet, Sister Frances serves as the Director of Catechetical Ministry here at OLPH. This includes planning, Implementing and coordinating the Faith Formation of Youth and Adult Programs, the RCIA Process and Sacramental Preparation.
  She feels very blessed to be part of a very friendly parish whose members see Jesus as our leader and teacher and to minister with a generous and faith filled parish staff and dedicated group of volunteer catechists and Faith Sharing Facilitators who share their gifts with the community.
  With her sister and brothers, they care for their elderly Mom, who at 94 years of age, is still Living at home. She enjoys spending time with her family, especially watching all the little ones as they group up way too fast. She also enjoys reading a good book and watching a good TV program.
Joe and Jen Hamilton, Youth Program Coordinators

Joe Hamilton has been a member of OLPH parish for his whole life. Jen has been catholic her whole life and attended catholic school at Holy Trinity through the 8th grade. They were married in 2004 and now have a very handsome son by the name of Joey. Joe has been working with youth since he was in the 12th grade and was once a youth minister at this parish. They are excited to be back working in youth ministry and hope to provide some fun and exciting activities throughout the year for youth to enjoy as well as meet some of their peers in a healthy environment.
  Karen Woollard, Parish Secretary
Karen has been a member of the parish since 1988 and has worked in the rectory as secretary/bookkeeper since 1996. She has been married for 21 years and has two children.
  Faith Eyer, Parish Secretary

Faith has been an OLPH parishioner since 1984. She has been married 31 years and has three children. She worked at OLPH School as a Kindergarten aide for 18 years and when her youngest daughter graduated from OLPH School, she graduated to the Rectory.
  Nina Sims, Parish Secretary

Nina has been a parishioner at OLPH since 1984 and has worked in the rectory, religious education, and Small Church Commumities since 1988. She now works in the Rectory Office part time.
  Gary Lowe, Parish Webmaster

With his daughter, Andrea, an OLPH Student. Gary has been webmaster for about 4 years and he has four kids attending OLPH school this year. He also volunteers his time as Asst. Scoutmaster for our very own OLPH Boy Scout Troop 3.
